What is meant by Archavatharam

Archavatharam (Perumal manifests in 5 forms)

Lord Sriman Narayana manifests himself in five stages viz, Param, Vyuham,Vibhavam,Antaryami and Archa in different forms and places. These five form are well concentrated in one place called Srirangam. Let us see what is this 5 stages are and see how it is ubiquitous.

Param : This emphasis the lord who is in Sri Vaikuntam or Paramapadam (Sriman Narayanan as roopa of Paravasudevar)

Vyuham : Sri Narayanan reclining on Adhisesha , in this Perumal exist in four forms (Vzuha vasudevan,Samkarshana,Pradhzumanan,Annirudhan)

Vibhavam : Perumal manifests himself in form of 10 Avatarams called dasavatharams

Antharyami : All thoughts about Sriman Narayana. i.e., He residing in the heart of his creations as a soul. Independent of the physical body (Our Mortal beings have birth/death, but soul does not) so, while living in this world think of Sriman Narayanan and be good. This means surrender yourself to lord itself.

Archa : The fourth stage in the order and his presence in the form of images installed and consecrated in the temples by the devotees for the worship is called Archa, this is considered to be the most suitable for the mortals in Kaliyuga to evoke His grace. The devotees Centralise their thoughts on the charm of the idols and remain dumb founded in a meditative mood in a communion with the Almighty.

Gajendra Moksham

GAJENDRA MOKSHAM

Gajendra moksham is one of the popular stories in India. It was said to be happened in the bank of river Cauvery ; Where lord Ranganathar temple is situated. The location called Sri Rangam (Sri Ranganathar vasasthalam). Let me come to the point, What is Gajendra Moksham? How it is happened? let me reveal.

Once upon a time there is a person called Indradyumana, who was a great King, (next jenma he is called Gajendra) . One day sage Agasthiar came to visit him, that time he never welcome him nor mind him , eventhough he is a human know he is having ahangaram that he is very rich and he is king who is ruling entire dynasty. So, Agasthiar cursed him that in next jenma he would be born as an elephant in which he would be taught the hard way that self is to be renounced and surrendered to the Lord.

The crocodile in its previous birth was a Gandharva king called HuHu. Once Sage Devala came to visit him. The two were taking bath and Sage Devala was offering prayers to the Sun God when Huhu pulled the sage's leg for fun. He cursed Huhu in next birth you will be born as a crocodile . Huhu asked for pardon. The sage told that he cannot reverse the curse which he have given. you get moksha when Vishnu will directly come and visit you that time your head will be cut your head by sudarshana chakra.

Thus the two souls were redeemed from their curses, the results of their "Puraakritam". King Indradyumna immediately attained Vaikuntha, the abode of Vishnu far higher than Swarga. This is referred to as Saroopya Mukti, or the liberation of receiving a spiritual body. The tale of Gajendra forms an integral theme in the Vaishnavism religion and has huge symbolic value with Gajendra as the man, Huhu as sins and the muddy water of the lake as Samsāra.

So always pray lord what ever the situation may be, if you are happy think of God. If you are sad, think of God all is in his hands. So, always dedicated yourself to lord Vishnu
